The Lucas Project Meet & Mingle Program was created to bring respite care to special needs families while they enjoy a much needed break, run errands, or connect with other caregivers. We are excited to bring this opportunity to families within the West Michigan community, as it is a much needed resource for parents and caregivers. This program is offered for a low cost fee of $5 for disabled individuals between the ages of 13 – 50 years old.
Coming This Summer
Starting in July and continuing through December, join us once a month for a time of respite, community, and connection.
We’ll meet from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rose Park Reformed Church in Holland, MI. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. for drop-off and registration. Due to spacing and staff we will have capacity of 20 participants.
While your participant enjoys games, crafts, and activities, we invite caregivers to grab a cup of coffee and a donut—stay and hang out with other caregivers or head out and enjoy your time.
