Kris’ Camp

Kris’ Camp’s therapeutic philosophy has evolved from the professional experience of some of the core therapists in combination with the founder’s goals and direction in starting Kris’ Camp. We do not adhere to one particular school of thought related to treatment, but utilize a positive approach based on several empirical findings and theories. We look at autism as a cognitive motor/sensory processing disorder.

Living the Sky Life Podcast

This podcast comes to you from a very tired, slightly slap happy and eternally hopeful warrior mom of a young adult son with severe, non-verbal autism.  My hope is to bring together parents of special needs children and professionals so we may share stories and experience to build a worldwide village of support for one another.  Living the Sky Life offers a personal connection and understanding from those who have likely walked in your shoes.

In Lovin’ with Grit and Grace, they offer a his-and-hers perspective on this unexpected marital journey with their eight children, seven of whom have lost a parent, including their eighteen-year-old son Lucas who is profoundly disabled. They address many tough topics, like grief, addictions, and intimacy, with a vulnerable honesty that is a breath of fresh air in an age when most would rather avoid these difficult issues.
