We are the Peace family. We have three boys. Collin who will be 15 in a few weeks, Gunner is 7 yrs old, and Noah who is a year old. We are all hands and eyes on deck 24/7 for our precious Collin, who has multiple disabilities. We bathe him, change him, brush his teeth, put his clothes on, help him walk, etc. He is completely nonverbal, and has seizures nightly (Lennox Gastaut syndrome).
Favorite Respite Activity
Respite would be so beneficial to us, to him, and to our other children. We love sports! My husband misses almost all of Gunners ball tournaments, due to staying home with Collin. We have tried taking him to one. It’s just extremely hard. It would be awesome to be able to take the other boys to a Braves game, or to do some fun things we usually aren’t able to do with them!
